Cornwall
Cornwall [Cornish Cornwall] BrE NAmE
a region at the south-west tip of England. It forms a county together with the ↑Scilly Isles. It used to produce a lot of tin, but there are now very few tin mines left. Its scenery, sandy beaches and mild climate now make it popular with tourists. The administrative centre is Truro. ▶
