WordPerfect 1. (text, tool, product) A word processor for a wide range of computers. The first version was sold in 1980 for Data General machines, and by the end of 1993 versions were on sale for MS-DOS, Microsoft Windows and Macintosh computers. WordPerfect 6.0 for Unix was scheduled for introduction in May 1994.
